You know that feeling when a dance fitness class is so much fun you forget you're exercising?
Ever caught yourself thinking, I want to teach this?
This practical, hands-on training is for dance fitness lovers ready to step into the role of instructor, as well as fitness instructors and dance teachers looking to broaden their skills.
You don't need to be the best dancer in the room.
Dance fitness isn't about perfect technique, complicated choreography or performance.
As a dance fitness instructor, you're there to help the people in front of you get moving, find their groove, and have an amazing time.
Join Eve founder and experienced dance fitness teacher, Annie Carter, for two practical, playful afternoons where you'll learn the skills to create and teach your own dance fitness classes.
Learn the essentials of choreography, musicality, cueing, class structure, fitness, modifications and the art of engaging a room, so you can teach dance fitness classes with confidence, creativity and your own unique style.
Come and learn how to create classes that make people want to move, and laugh and and sweat. And maybe forget they're exercising altogether.

FAQs
Is this course for women only?
This training is for women and non-binary people
Does the training include any homework or assessment tasks?
You will have some homework between our two Saturday sessions to help integrate your learning.
This will include:
-
Choreographing a dance fitness routine of your own, using the techniques learned
-
Learning an additional dance fitness routine
You will have the opportunity to share the learned routines with the group. These won't be formally assessed, but you will receive feedback from Annie and the group to support your learning.
Do I need to have any dance training?
Not at all.
Our facilitator, Annie, is not a trained dancer (but has been teaching dance fitness for 17 years.)
Some dance experience can be helpful, but we're much more interested in your ability to connect with people, move with the music and learn to teach.
Will I be qualified to teach dance fitness classes in gyms and other studios?
