Classes

We have a wide range of classes at Eve. We know your needs can change from day to day, across your monthly cycle, and in different seasons of life, and we have designed classes to suit wherever you're at.

 

So you can choose between gentle, nurturing relaxation classes, high-intensity sweat sessions, fun dance classes and more. Feel free to get in touch if you're not sure where to begin. Or just dive in and try a bunch of classes to see what hits the spot. (Our intro deals are a great way to get a taste of all that Eve has to offer.)

ON THE MAT

VINYASA

A dynamic yoga asana class that connects your breath with movement. Generate some heat in your body, building strength and mobility, while fostering a calm and focused mind. The class ends with some slower movement, longer-held poses, and finally, rest.

YIN YOGA

This class consists of a series of passive floor-based poses, utilising bolsters and other props, to support your body to open and release. Each pose is held for 3 - 5 minutes, allowing time for the gentle release of connective tissues in the body.

The practice draws on the principles of Traditional Chinese Medicine, and your teacher may target specific meridians or energy channels.

Don't be surprised if you feel like you float out of the room after class!

SLOW FLOW

Flow mindfully through a sequence of poses, gently building your strength and flexibility. This class moves at a slower pace than Vinyasa, with more time to explore each posture. Great if you’re a beginner, pregnant, moving through an injury, or simply looking to slow down.

PINK SPACE

This free class is for women and nonbinary people at all stages of breast cancer survival. A fusion of yoga, qi gong and pilates. Created to increase strength and mobility and encourage a sense restoration and relaxation through mindful breath work.

MOVE WITH MINI - YOGA

A nurturing yoga class for mums with little ones. Stretch, strengthen and nourish your body in a casual environment. Whether you're new to yoga, or exploring what your practice might look like now that you're a mum, you are so very welcome to join us. Suitable for all levels (new mums - get your doc's okay to exercise after giving birth). Your child will be in the room with you and can join in, have a snooze, or play nearby. As life with a little one doesn’t always fit to a tight schedule, these are open 60 minute sessions where you can arrive any time, complete as much as you like and leave when you (and mini) are ready. No pressure.

FIT + STRONG

BOXFIT

This workout will really pack a punch! Get lean and fit and develop basic boxing techniques and have a ball with this boxing class using gloves and focus pads.

CIRQUE

A circuit class combining strength moves and fitness training. The class focuses on strength and conditioning, along with cardio intervals to crank up your fitness. A great well-rounded workout for your whole body.

HUSTLE

A high intensity, low impact workout, giving you the fitness benefits of high intensity interval training without the impact on your pelvic floor, bones and joints. We utilise weights, not jumping to build intensity to get you fit and strong.

LIFT

Get strong, get powerful. Resistance training using free weights and simple equipment to improve your bone density, joint function and muscle, tendon and ligament strength. Includes a light cardio warm-up and a stretch at the end.

LOADED

group class, working with heavier weights. You must have attended Lift class consistently (at least weekly) for three months to attend this one, and have good form performing basic lifts. If in doubt, chat to one of our fitness instructors.

ONE HOT MINUTE

So you can do pretty much anything if it's just for one minute, right? This class uses a series of one minute intervals of intense exercise, interspersed with periods of rest and recovery. Push yourself to your limit for one minute (it's just one minute remember!), rest for a bit, and then get fired up to do it again. This style of training helps to build your fitness fast.

DANCE

COMMERCIAL POP

Learn the latest dance moves, drawing on pop, hip hop and contemporary styles. Bring it all together with a fun, energetic choreographed routine.

HIP HOP AEROBICS

Sweat, jump, shake, get down and get up again, it's Hip Hop aerobics! Rad tunes from your fave old and new school rappers, getting your heart pumping. This class will demystify hip hop dance and give you the foundations to be able to dance well. Each week you’ll learn fun, simple phrases to improve your rhythm, timing and coordination.

WORK IT

Get an awesome cardio workout, discover some new dance moves, and have so much fun you don't even realise you're exercising! Work it, dance floor style! With hip hop and other urban styles, you'll be dancing your way to feeling fit and fantastic.

MOVE WITH MINI - DANCE

Mums, it's time to dance with Mini (babies to pre-school age). This relaxed, fun class is a great way to connect with your little one, yourself, and with other mums with moderate exercise. No need to worry about nailing the moves - this class is for all levels (even the seriously un-co!) As life with a little one doesn’t always fit to a tight schedule, these are open 60 minute sessions where you can arrive any time, complete as much as you like and leave when you (and mini) are ready. No pressure. Toddlers can join in, and bubs can be carried in a sling or carrier (BYO). Suitable for all levels (new mums - get your doc's okay to exercise after giving birth).

AEROBICISE: THE 80'S WORKOUT

Following in the footsteps and flick-kicks of retro goddesses Jane Fonda, Cindy Crawford and Raquel Welch. You’ll get your sweat on dancing up a storm to the hits of yesteryear before you get down on the mat for some conditioning moves that will have you feeling the burn! Note: you might burn just as much energy laughing! Shoes necessary, leg warmers and leotards encouraged!
