Grounded Mothers helps new mums recover, reconnect with their bodies, and feel supported in the early weeks of motherhood.

​

Designed for mums with babies aged 6 weeks to 4 months, this six-week workshop series offers practical guidance, gentle movement, and genuine connection, so you don’t have to navigate postnatal recovery alone.

​

Each 90-minute weekly session supports your physical recovery and emotional wellbeing through three key elements:

​

Learn
Clear, evidence-based education on postnatal recovery, covering pelvic floor health, core strength, nervous system support, and more, delivered via pre-recorded content you can return to anytime.

​

Move
Expert-led, postpartum-appropriate movement to help you rebuild strength and improve mobility, to support a smooth transition into motherhood.

​

Connect
A warm, supportive circle where you can share, listen, and connect with other mums who truly understand this season.

​

What's included:​

  • Pre-recorded education and movement sessions with women’s health physio Laura Ham

  • Research-backed handouts

  • Yoga sequences

  • Breathwork (pranayama) and meditation

  • Sharing circle

  • Ongoing community connection

What we'll cover:

​

Week 1:  Pelvic Floor
Build strength and confidence, support bladder and bowel health, and ease your return to sexual intimacy.

​

Week 2: Upper Back & Wrists
Relieve neck, shoulder, and wrist pain with smart lifting techniques, stretches, and strengthening.

​

Week 3: Lower Back & Hips
Learn to care for your spine and hips with lifting techniques, and tips for standing posture and use of baby carrier.

​

Week 4: Abdominal Recovery & Diastasis
Learn how to safely activate your core and support abdominal healing.

​

Week 5: Chest Care
Learn strategies for managing mastitis and maintaining chest health, to support your feeding journey. We explore comfortable feeding positions for breast or bottle.

​

Week 6: Wellbeing
Nourish your nervous system through the challenges of motherhood with movement, mindfulness, and resources for mental health support.

​
