"Hello! I’m Grace.
I came across yoga in 2012 whilst studying at university, and was initially drawn to the physically strengthening aspects of Ashtanga yoga. Around this time, I was training for my first marathon in the UK, and found yoga to be the perfect partner for long-distance running. Yoga became an insight into the somatic connection between the mind and body, and the emotional and mental benefits quickly became more alluring as each practice offered an opportunity for self-enquiry.
I went on to do my first teacher training in Melbourne in 2020 to take a deeper dive into the spiritual heart of the practice and I’ve continued to train with some of Australia’s most renowned teachers across different disciplines. My passion for yoga lies in its expansive and vast philosophy, and my aim is to weave this into my classes.
On the mat, you can expect progression, moments of play and a centring on the breath. I truly hope anyone coming to class will leave feeling a little taller, a little more expansive, and a little more at peace."
