Our Spring Retreat is your opportunity to take time out before the silly season gets going.
Breathe the fresh air, come home to what really matters, and carry a
sense of vitality and ease into the months ahead.

Hosted by Kathy Peterson and Simmin Almassi, the hallmark of this retreat is space.
Go at your own pace, take in the lush gardens and natural surrounds, have a nap or
write in your journal. Enjoy gentle yoga, nourishing food and great company.​​
DATES
6th - 9th November 2025

We start at 6.30pm on Thursday 6th November. You may arrive any time from 4pm.*
The retreat ends at 11am on Sunday 9th November.

LOCATION
The retreat is on Dja Dja Wurrung country, in the lovely town of Trentham, approximately one hour's drive from Melbourne.
​We are staying in two adjacent homes set within lush country gardens. It's a beautiful, peaceful setting, ideal for a relaxing getaway.
​
We are a short walk from the town centre, so you can wander in for a coffee or to browse the local shops.
​​
​
INCLUSIONS
* A light supper on Thursday night, all meals and snacks on Friday and Saturday, and Sunday morning breakfast.
* Accommodation (private single or twin-share room).
* Daily yoga, meditation and reflection sessions (These will be gentle sessions. No prior experience needed).
* Plenty of time and space for reading, naps, walks and enjoying the tranquil setting.
* Optional addition of a relaxing massage (additional fee)

Note: transport to and from the retreat is not included.

Our intention is for you to leave the retreat feeling rested, rejuvenated, and connected with Mother Nature, a loving community, and yourself.

FACILITATORS
The retreat will be facilitated by Kathy Peterson and Simmin Almassi.​
​
Kathy loves sharing the practice of yoga with others and holding space for people. Kathy brings warmth and lightheartedness to all that she does and encourages people to simply 'be themselves'.
​
Simmin is a much-loved yoga teacher at Eve and qualified counsellor. Trained in trauma sensitive yoga and mental health aware yoga Simmin is dedicated to supporting people in mental health recovery through movement.

INVESTMENT
All prices are per person, inclusive of GST, subject to room availability

A deposit of $500 is required within 7 days of registration, to confirm your booking. The balance is due by 30th October 2025.

SCHEDULE
Here's an idea of what you can expect...
​
Thursday
Arrive any time from 4pm to settle in and let the unwinding begin.
You can eat dinner before you arrive, head into town for a meal or enjoy a light supper with us around 6.30pm. We'll officially start the retreat at 8pm with an opening circle, before heading off to bed.
Friday & Saturday
We'll begin each day at 8:30am with slow flow yoga, pranayama and meditation, followed by a yummy brekkie.

Spend the rest of the morning, into the afternoon, as you choose. Have a snooze, curl up with a book, wander into town, or head out for a walk in the nearby forest. If you're opted for a massage, we'll let you know what time you're booked in. Bliss!
​
Lunch will be available from 1pm, so help yourself when you're ready.
​
We'll come together again at 4:30pm for a relaxed workshop centred on your wellbeing and self care beyond the retreat. Use this time to reflect and reset, to cultivate a sense of clarity and ease going forward.
​
Dinner will be served at 6pm, followed by a gentle yin or restorative yoga practice. Float off to bed for a restful night's sleep.
​

Sunday
Enjoy a final slow flow yoga, pranayama and meditation practice before breakfast, followed by a closing circle.
​
The retreat will finish at 11am.
You may wish to head home or spend the afternoon in the lovely surrounds of Trentham.

FAQs
Is the retreat just for women?
Eve is a space for women and non-binary folk, and our Spring Retreat is the same. It's a lovely opportunity to connect with others in a nurturing, peaceful environment.
Is this only for people who attend Eve Studio?
No, all women and nonbinary people are welcome to attend the retreat, whether or not you've been part of Eve up until now.
What if I don't know anyone?
That is totally fine! You are more than welcome to come alone. Rest assured you will be made to feel right at home. Really, it's a perfect opportunity to connect with some new people. Lasting friendships have been made at our previous retreats!
Can I share a room with my friend?
We will do our very best to accommodate room-sharing requests, so just let us know who you'd like to share with.
Can you accommodate my dietary needs?
Absolutely. Just make sure you let us know of your dietary needs so our caterer can prepare yummy meals just for you. Most of the meals are already vegetarian, gluten-free and delicious!
Do I need to be fit, flexible or experienced in yoga?
Not at all. Our yoga sessions will be gentle and can be adapted for all abilities. You will be just right, exactly as you are.
