CREATIVE ARTS THERAPY
Jaya, Ruby and Sally are Creative Arts Therapists who share the arts therapy studio here. They each have an inclusive practice that uses a range of creative modalities to support mental health and emotional well-being.
Creative arts therapies use various mediums, including visual art, movement, sounds, tactile, verbal and drama. Their specialised training equips them to work one one-on-one and in groups with various needs, including expressing, inquiring into and making meaning of life experiences and dreams/goals.

Jaya is a somatic-oriented, neuroscience-affirming and culturally responsive Melbourne (Narrm) based therapist. Her specialist practice domains intersect expressive art(s), Psychodrama (ABP) and group process. She is adept at fostering other than linguistic (talk/verbal) ways of knowing, being and sensing to support mental health and emotional wellbeing.
She integrates trauma-informed principles and concentrates on ages 14+. She offers in-person and online configurations in (1-1), duos (2-1), and groups. She senses her role as a therapist to be an offering of care, presence, and connection.

Ruby is a registered art therapist. She has worked within the clinical, NDIS, and aged care sectors, gaining valuable experience working with a diverse range of individuals and systems. This experience has further reinforced her belief in the powerful impact of art therapy on mental health and well-being.
Ruby is guided by principles of respect, person-centered care, and creativity, and brings a deep sense of integrity, authenticity, and consideration to her work and life. She is dedicated to this practice and will facilitate processes of inquiry that are gentle, inclusive, and affirming.
Sally is a practicing artist and registered Arts Therapist with a background in community art, offering new spaces and opportunities for creative expression and inviting people to engage safely in the wonders of art creation. Undertaking her placement with the Olivia Newton John Cancer Wellness and Research Centre, Sally has successfully engaged and facilitated many forms of art therapy, including virtual programs, public projects, and individual therapeutic programs. She currently offers individual sessions and group arts inquiry sessions at Eve. She also delivers arts
therapy programs to schools. She values community, connection, creativity and wellbeing.
