When she first discovered osteopathy, Tegan was immediately drawn to its unique, proactive and holistic approach to healthcare.

Since graduating in  2009, Tegan has worked in private practice in rural Victoria and around Melbourne and enjoys working with each individual to enable them take control of their health through pain relief, injury prevention and maintenance treatment to optimise wellbeing.

‘In practice, I often see that people see their body as something that holds them back or something they need to drag around all day, especially when it feels painful or restricted. As an osteo, I aim to change this perception by identifying the cause of pain or imbalance using a natural hands on approach. I use soft tissue techniques, stretching, articulation, gentle manipulation, and support through education, rehabilitation and lifestyle advice.

I am so excited to share Rhythm Health Osteopathy with Eve Studio and work with women in such a nurturing, empowering, and energetic environment.’

'It was my keen interest in health science combined with my desire to help others which inspired me to pursue a career in osteopathy. I studied at RMIT University completing a Bachelor of Applied Science and a Master of Osteopathy with distinction.

Since graduating I have worked in a variety of clinical settings from inner Melbourne to outback Queensland, gaining invaluable experience in the treatment of a wide range of injuries and conditions.
Driven to provide the highest standard of care I regularly attend seminars throughout Australia, USA and Europe to learn from world-renowned teachers and further my osteopathic skills.

I am currently completing my third year of study in paediatric osteopathy at the Swiss Osteopathic Centre for Kids in Switzerland. This program is centred around the traditional osteopathic approach which works in synergy with the body’s own natural healing resources.

I have a genuine desire to serve and support my patients to reach their specific goals
along the journey towards optimal health. I am delighted to be part of the Eve wellness team where there is a shared passion for supporting women’s health and wellbeing through every stage of life.

"I started studying Osteopathy in France, before moving to Australia and completing my studies in Melbourne. I went on to work in Brisbane, Sydney and New Zealand before returning to Melbourne for good this year.

I was particularly drawn to osteopathy because of its deep respect of the body’s innate tendency to self-heal and regulate. I am passionate about this aspect of osteopathy and truly believe osteopathy has something unique to bring to healthcare.

As a long-time yoga practitioner, I have a deep understanding of the role played by the mind and emotions in health and dis-ease. I strongly believe that empowering the patient to be active in their recovery is key to their journey towards health. Increased awareness and understanding of one’s body can be achieved through education, mindful movement, conscious breathing and nutrition, all things vital to our health. Health is not merely the absence of disease, so there is always more we can do.

Laura first developed a passion for health and wellness while working in the fitness industry. As a
personal trainer, she enjoyed meeting people of all ages and fitness levels and helping them to
achieve their health goals. Her work as a PT inspired an interest in human anatomy, movement, and
injury prevention. This naturally led to her vocation to become an osteopath. Laura completed a
Bachelor of Health Science and a Bachelor of Applied Science (Osteopathy) with Distinction at RMIT University.

Laura enjoys treating a wide variety of musculoskeletal conditions and is passionate about providing
holistic healthcare to her patients. Alongside osteopathy, Laura has been working as a qualified yoga teacher. In conjunction with her background in fitness, yoga teaching has informed her approach to  patient care. As well as providing manual therapy, Laura focuses on incorporating evidence-based exercise, mindfulness-based activities, and pain education into her treatments.

Overall, Laura aims to collaborate with her patients so that they can work together to create an individualised management  plan that will optimise their physical and mental well-being.

Laura uses a combination of osteopathic manual techniques, including soft tissue massage, joint
mobilisation and manipulation, myofascial release, and dry needling. Laura is delighted to be a part of the Rhythm Health team where each and every patient is supported throughout their journey to wellness and recovery. When Laura is not treating as an osteopath, she is practising yoga, training at the gym, spending time with friends, or exploring in nature.
