Studio Manager
 
Permanent part-time position: 25 hours per week (ideally spread across 5 days)
Moves between Preston and Brunswick locations. Some at-home work may be possible.

This position is directly supported by the Studio Director, and has responsibility for reception staff and the teaching team.

 

The Studio Manager oversees the day-to-day operations and smooth running of the Preston and Brunswick studios.

 

Fostering a supportive community environment, the Studio Manager facilitates the optimal performance of the administrative and teaching team, representing the vision and values of Eve on all occasions. 

 

The Studio Manager assists the Director in supporting the life and growth of Eve Studio overall, through programming, client engagement, strategic development, reflection and implementation.

As the ideal person for this role, you will:

 

  • Live and breathe the values of Eve, contributing wholeheartedly to the culture within the team and broader community of the studios

  • Have demonstrated great management skills, strong attention to detail, and delight in offering a warm and positive experience for all who connect with Eve. 

  • Have skills and experience in creating and implementing systems to make life easier for everyone on the team

Responsibilities include:

 

  • Manage studio staff, including reception / admin and teaching team. This involves recruitment, induction and training, organising class covers, general communications, and coordinating team meetings.

  • Support and supervise the administrative team to ensure the smooth running of the studios

  • Oversee studio maintenance, cleaning, procurement and inventory, including management of external contractors as required, to ensure all areas are consistently clean, tidy and organised. Identify opportunities to create greater efficiencies

  • Oversee compliance with Workplace Health & Safety (WHS) requirements

  • Manage class timetabling, in liaison with team and the studio Director.

  • Maintain effective communication with and among teaching team, administrative staff and Wellness Co. practitioners, implementing systems to support this as needed.

  • Handle any logistical / equipment / software issues quickly and efficiently, liaising with Director and team as required.

  • Provide regular reports to the Director, as needed

  • Work with the team and Director to identify and address areas for improvement

  • Provide support to Wellness Co. practitioners, addressing any needs or concerns, and enabling the optimal functioning.

  • Ensure compliance with Workplace Health & Safety requirements.

  • Further duties may include supporting new initiatives, assisting with promotion and social media, and general administrative duties as required.

  • Some after-hours / on-call work is required as needed.

Studio Manager
Administration Assistant & Bookkeeper
 
Casual or Permanent Part Time Position: 8 - 10 hours per week
This role has some flexibility with the possibility of working from home at times.

The Administrative Assistant / Bookkeeper supports the smooth running of Eve Studio through excellent organisation, timely data-entry and reporting, managing staff and client information and payroll.

 

In this role, you will report to the Studio Director, and provide direct administrative support to the Director as well as the Studio Manager and Training & Programs Manager. 


 

As the ideal person for this job you will:

 

  • Be experienced in providing excellent administrative support to a manager and/or team. 

  • Love being organised, tending to the fine details, and feeling the satisfaction of a task well done.

  • Have experience in bookkeeping and payroll, and have a good knowledge of Xero.

  • Be self- motivated, while enjoying playing your part within a team.

  • Enjoy working across a variety of tasks, managing your time and priorities effectively

  • Be aligned with the values and vision of Eve Studio

  • Have strong written communication skills, and a sound knowledge of Gmail, the Microsoft Office Suite, Wix and Mindbody software.

  • Be flexible, adaptable, resourceful and up for a challenge 

  • Be open to feedback, eager to learn, and ready to grow


 

Responsibilities include:

 

  • Providing administrative support to the director and managers including coordinating timetables, organising class covers, team and client follow-up, sending emails, maintaining records, updating the website and handling complex client requests.

  • General bookkeeping, entering bills and invoices into Xero in a timely and accurate manner. 

  • Preparing regular financial and other reports.

  • Preparing new employee documents, and assisting with onboarding new staff and Wellness Co. practitioners.

  • Fortnightly payroll. 

  • Preparing regular emails to our client database

  • Assisting in compliance with Workplace Health & Safety (WHS) requirements

  • Providing support with timetabling and programming of workshops, courses, and events

  • Assist with promotion and social media as appropriate

  • Assist in preparation, set-up and pack-up of workshops and special events, as needed from time to time.

Admin Assistant
Receptionist
 
Casual position: 9+ hours per week (must be able to work 9am - 12pm Tuesday, Friday and Saturday)
There may be an opportunity for additional hours in the future
Based primarily at our Preston studio. Brunswick opportunity may also arise

This position is within our reception team, and is directly supported by the Studio Manager.

Our reception team play a vital role in providing a warm welcome and positive experience to everyone who connects with Eve, through excellent client service and support, great written and verbal communication, and meticulous studio upkeep.

As the ideal person for this role, you will:

 

  • Be warm and friendly, and aligned with the values and vision of Eve

  • Thrive on providing great client support through phone, email and in-person interactions

  • Demonstrate excellent communication skills, both written and verbal

  • Notice the little things, and enjoy adding the extra touches to enhance client experience

  • Love ticking things off a to-do list

  • Enjoy being part of a team, while also showing great initiative

  • Be comfortable learning / using systems like Cliniko and Mindbody

 

Responsibilities include:

 

  • Welcoming new and existing clients into the space, signing them in for classes or appointments

  • Responding to enquiries and requests by email, voicemail and in person.

  • Data-entry and client record maintenance and membership support

  • Processing payments and private health fund claims using HICAPS

  • Keeping the studio looking fresh, clean and inviting, with some organising, restocking, cleaning, tidying and general zhuzhing.

  • Working cohesively with the rest of the reception team, keeping great communication and team spirit

  • Providing real-time support to the teaching team and Wellness Co. in the space as needed
