This 2-hour workshop will break down the steps to build up to these poses so that you can develop confidence within each one, move at your own pace and finish standing strong.
Handstands and arm balances can appear crazy-fancy and quite intimidating in a yoga class. By coming to this workshop, you have the time and space to develop body awareness upside down, ask questions, take risks in a safe environment and get to understand that they might not be as scary as they look. You are capable of standing strong.
Led by Hana, yoga facilitator who has a background artistic gymnastics.
She’ll help you get comfortable going upside down and not taking yourself too seriously along the way.
This workshop will begin with a grounding yoga practice and followed by strength drills for your wrists, shoulders and upper body for hand balancing. We’ll go through a range of arm balancing poses leading up to handstands against the wall.
