“Hi! My name is Simmin and I teach Vinyasa and Slow Flow Yoga at Eve Studio.


I have always been active, loving sports as a child but in my teen years moved in to dance and took to it like a duck to water. I loved the freedom and self expression that was involved in moving my body. My dance training was disciplined and required my commitment and dedication. Dance build into me a perfectionist mindset, so when I came to yoga, it took sometime to let go of making every pose look perfect and feel into my body and what it needs. I soon realised I didn’t need yoga for the physical workout, I need it to quiet down my busy mind. 


Yoga has helped me tame my stressed, anxious, perfectionist mind and help me to be more present and connected with others and the world around me.


I completed my 200hr Yoga Teacher Training at Power Living in 2017 and in 2019 completed a 30hr training in Trauma Sensitive Yoga.


I love how Yoga incorporates body, mind and spirit. It’s the personal discipline or ‘niyama’ in Sanskrit of ‘Svadhyaya’ meaning self study that I have been drawn to and compelled to pass this on to others."
