Hi, I’m Georgia, but mostly go by G.
I accidentally stumbled across yoga over 10 years ago while I was in my final year of school. The teacher made it feel fun, inclusive and like we could all give anything a red hot crack regardless of experience or “flexibility”.
Since then, yoga has taught me to let go of trying to control every situation as well as learn the language of and how to communicate with my own body. I get so excited to teach both strong Vinyasa and softer Slow Flow or Yin classes, with a primary focus of coming back to basics of felt sensation and breath.
I do my best to give options in my classes so every student can find a variation of the pose that suits their body on any given day. I value inclusion and accessibility, both in the yoga room as a teacher and outside in my role working in disability. I appreciate that people have their own stuff going on so I hope to empower them with practical tools to take when they’re off their mat and back out in the “real world”.
Eve is such a genuine, loving and wholesome community to be a part of, both as a teacher and a student. It’s a space you can come to on your own and leave with new friends. There’s just something so unique and special about that, I can’t wait for us to practice together soon.
