The recent groundswell in the Black Lives Matter movement may have you wondering how you can help dismantle systems of racism and white supremacy.
Layla F. Saad gives a clear answer:
'Begin within. Begin with you and white supremacy.'
Join our book club reading Saad's book, Me and White Supremacy: How to Recognise Your Privilege, Combat Racism and Change the World.
The book guides readers through a deep and often confronting reflection process to understand ways in which we are complicit in upholding systemic racism, and moving us towards doing better.
There are questions for reflection and journalling, so that we're not just reading the book, we're doing work.
Our fortnightly online book club will provide support, encouragement and accountability
This book club is for women only.
Trans and non-binary women welcome.
9th September - 18th November
(six fortnightly gatherings)

At your place.
All group sessions are online via Zoom.
When you sign up, you will receive an email with the Zoom link and some information about what to read before our first gathering.
There is no monetary cost to join this book club, apart from purchasing the book itself.
But it is an investment.
By signing up, you're investing your time and attention, and committing to show up as wholly as you can for the work this book calls you to. And of course to give and receive support and accountability to the others in the book club.
This is no ordinary book club! If we do it right, it really can change the world.
